Today SRH is set to face KKR in the second qualifier of this season.Out of form SRH who have lost their momentum seems to be weaker contender infront of inform KKR team.
How the thing have changed for SRH .They came as underdogs , but till the end of league stages they were the topper of the table even after losing their last three games. If we count their encounter againt CSK in the first qualifier, they have lost four game in a row and are total looking out of form. The problem with SRH is their batting and are too much dependent upon Williamson and Dhawan and if they fail , no one is their to take over the charge. SRH have played 15 games in total and still their middle order haven't scored much. Yusuf Pathan won one game for them and that was also after he got too many drop chances.Manish Pandey is scoring with a strike rate of only 100 even after playing too many balls. They were too much expectation from this young guy but he didn't performed to the expectation. The positive that they can take from last game is Brathwete. So he will be surely playing today's game.
They don't have any issue with bowling. This bowling unit is the best of this season as many a times they have defended the small total given by their batsman. Even in the last game they were about to defend the 140 score but Faf Duplesis took the game away from them. In pace department Bhuwanesh is back in form , Sidharth Kaul is performing in the death overs, Sandeep Sharma is not giving run. In spin department Rashid Khan and Shakib both are taking wickets . So this is the right bowling combination for SRH.
Now today is the last chance for SRH to book the ticket to finale. Now some changes are really required to be done and one change which I want to see is Deepak Hooda in place of Manish Pandey. Hooda is a retained player by SRH but he didn't got many chances. In whatever changes he got he was looking good.
